New stats show NHS Lanarkshire dispensed more than 16 million free prescriptions last year

Research from the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe) has shown that with prescriptions costing £9.90 each in England it is estimated that the average Scots households saved an average of £440.50 on essential medicines in 2024/25.
