Fashion Season is Here

The Runway is Calling Hello, you fashionable actors! We've got a very special treat this month for all of you runway divas and showstopping stunners. The first ever rpg.actor Fashion Jam is hitting the catwalk May 5th - 25th and we're super excited to see everyone get their sprite glammed up for it. Check out the crazy Beep Beep runway launch trailer to see your character in action! A brand new experience called Fashionista Runway is now available. Take to the stage for 10 seconds, tell the world what you're serving, and strut your stuff to record your very own walk. The runway will remember your outfit and moves, so your rpg.actor can keep performing in the ongoing show and on your profile! Stans and Haters alike can rank performances and tell everyone what you're giving with that look. Our resident couture queen, @fashionista.rpg.actor spills all the gossip, introduces model debuts, announces nightly hosts, and tracks the weekly changes on her Super Stylish Style Board. We're giving away more Creator Accounts and rare items to those who put on the best show! Plus, the Top 20 Contestants will have their sprite or wardrobe items printed on a Paper Doll Sticker Sheet and mailed to them, for some silly fun. Custom Tailored Fit To help you look your best, we've created a new Wardrobe Painter which lets you completely customize every pixel of your rpg.actor and create something totally unique. You can load your sprite begin editing right away, or even load someone else for inspiration. When you're done, export your work or save directly to your profile. The painter is free to use, but those with Creator Accounts also unlock the powerful Wardrobe Mode, which lets you create clothes and accessories, just like you find in the Sprite Generator. Painting your frames, save custom creations to your inventory, and then share them as gifts to your friends with simple links or QR codes! Special Delivery Wardrobe Mode uses the newest Creator Panel features, which let you easily manage multiple characters, and now inventory items to distribute as you please. You can set limited quantities and claim windows, as well as reservation lists to assure only your most loyal fans get the goods. Then, connecting your account as a Gift Provider, stamps the items you distribute with a .give record from your own handle (instead of our trusty @courier.rpg.actor), letting everyone know exactly where those gorgeous new styles came from. Bootleggers beware! IRL Item Drops Thanks to all of this, a notorious actor was able to stop by the recent atproto.to meetup and distribute some special locals-only shirts for everyone who attended. Today (May 4th) there's another gathering happening with atproto.nyc gathering where a few more exclusive items might make an appearance! Keep your eye out for cool folks with their own QR codes for giveaways! Time For Style There's been even more little system improvements, UI changes, and slow evolutions across the whole site, but we're already running long... We'll drop more news later about our latest plugins and wardrobe items, plus new worlds to visit and exciting new ways to use your characters, but for now it's time for you to hit the catwalk.
