Tradition returns! The Rusty Wheel hosts Memorial Day pancake breakfast

The Rusty Wheel and SOBO Athletic Club are bringing back the Memorial Day Pancake breakfast this year at The Rusty Wheel, 529 Blackhawk Blvd in South Beloit. After a multi-year absence, the breakfast returns but seems to have ignored the laws of inflation. Tickets are 5 dollars and include pancakes, bacon, and sausage. Children under 5 eat for free. All proceeds will benefit SOBO athletes. Those who are still hungry after breakfast and parade are encouraged to enter the hot dog eating contest to take place at the Rusty Wheel 30 minutes following the parade.
