• Hononegah Lady Indians defeated Rockford Auburn 60-39 in the Regional Final from Hampshire. Next up is a game against the 2 seed Mundelein (Carmel) Tuesday, Feb 24 at Rockford (Guilford), tipoff 7:30 pm

• At the 2026 IHSA Individual Wrestling Championships in Champaign at State Farm Center, Hononegah has been doing some good work. Defending 132lb State Champion junior Rocco Cassioppi now wrestling at 150lb has 2 TFs 20-3 and 18-3, brother Bruno is also cruising along so far winning 19-3 and 17-2 in 165lb class, fellow junior wrestler Brody Sendele wrestling at 175 is grinding his opponents into the mat with wins of 17-2 and 19-4 all three junior wrestlers look good for deep, deep runs in the tournament. Senior Jackson Olson wrestling at 126lb dropped his opening match 13-3 but wrestles again on Friday as he looks to bounce back. Follow all the action on the FloWrestling website HERE.
