Lauber, 82, Roscoe\n _He was superintendent, principal, and teacher in Kinnikinnick School District and a colonel in the US Army._\n\nBob Lauber (1943-2026)\n\n**Jan. 23, 2026:**\nAmelia M. Myers, 12, Rockton\n _Before she lost her ability to speak, she went to Washington D.C. to advocate for newborn screenings and early diagnosis for others with genetic conditions. Even in the worst moments,__she remained strong_ _and always had a smile on her face. She loved swimming, riding her scooter, swings, coloring, purple, going on many adventures, going to the beach, crafting, ice cream, and animals._\n\nAmelia Myers (2013-2026)\n\n**Jan. 26, 2026:**\nJudith M. Radean, 72, Rockton\n _She was the owner of the Rockton Inn for many years and worked for the Winnebago County Circuit Clerk’s Office. She enjoyed family, traveling, time outdoors, gardening and interior design._\n\nJudith Radean (1953-2026)\n\nJanet E. Lind, 82, Roscoe\n _She worked for many years as a cosmetologist and rose to supervisor in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. She bowled a number of perfect 300 games and enjoyed gardening in her flowerbeds._\n\nJanet Lind (1943-2026)\n\n**Jan. 29, 2026:**\nPhyllis P. Schick, 88, Roscoe\n _Raised on a farm in North Dakota with her ten siblings, she raised 3 children and worked jobs in the service industry. She never sat down for long and was always on the move doing something for others._\n\nPhyllis Schick (1937-2026)\n\nVelma Mae Parr, 93, Rockton\n _A lifelong resident of Rockton, she was the beating heart of her home. She worked for many years at the Candy Kitchen at the Wagon Wheel. She served as church secretary of Rockton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, bike rides, and long walks._\n\nVelma Parr (1932-2026)\n\n**Jan. 30, 2026:**\nJulie E. Wyss, 52, South Beloit\n _For 30 years, she worked at, managed, and consulted for plasma donation centers.
