"textContent": "The Death of Henry Nowak occurred on December 3rd, 2025, when the 18-year-old British-Polish university student was fatally stabbed in Southampton, England. During an altercation, 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa cut and stabbed Nowak five times with a knife. When police arrived at the scene, Digwa accused Nowak of attacking him, leading officers to handcuff Nowak, who died shortly afterward from his injuries.\n\nBefore the stabbing, Nowak had recorded video footage of Digwa walking away during a verbal dispute. Digwa later claimed he acted in self-defense, alleging that Nowak had pursued him, made racist remarks and assaulted him, though prosecutors argued these claims were fabricated to justify the attack.\n\nOn May 28th, 2026, a jury convicted Digwa of murder, while his mother, Kiran Kaur, was found guilty of assisting an offender. Body camera footage recorded by responding officers later went viral on social media platforms, including X / Twitter",
