        "plaintext": "Starting a blog was one of those things I've always considered, but never fully committed to. In the past, I tried everything from using Google's Blogger, to using those free website builders such as Wix and Squarespace, and even thought about making my own website through Webflow. But even with all the options available today, both paid and free, my attempts always fell flat."

        "plaintext": "I have so much I'd like to say, but every single time I looked at that blank page and started to type, I held back. Yeah... That was the problem. Even when I told myself that the main audience for these posts were for myself, yet putting myself out there for a public audience made me tone down my thoughts."

        "plaintext": "The problem with that approach is that only writing in something like a journal or even starting a blog and not even making it public is that it's an isolated space. The reason making a casual blog was so appealing to me in the first place was because it allowed for possible interaction outside of my closed thoughts. I don't consider myself an introvert by any means, and interacting with others both in-person and online is something a value very much. Yet, for some reason, I could never commit to putting myself out there honestly."

        "plaintext": "With the rise of the open web once again, making a personal blog has become more common again. Not only that, but there is no focus on SEO, advertising, and reach. Even though on all the other platforms I've used in the past, all of those things were optional, they were features that made blogging feel like I had to appeal to an audience that I never had. Hence, I could never truly write the way I want while being true to myself. With the open web, this casual style of macroblogging is something that this corner of the internet embraces. In a way, it brings back the feeling of what the internet was to people back when it started to become widely available."
