"textContent": ">\"Trust me, whatever you do, and I'm talking about in life, you're always going to be solving for X.\"\n>\n> — **Caspian**, *from the animated series:- Pantheon*\n\n\nThis might be a small rant post with some broken english, but at this point I don't really care. I just want to put my thoughts out there. No AI, just me.\n\nAll my life I've been chasing after creation. The creation of code, or art, or music, anything. It is our very nature to create as humans. And it's not like I'm mediocre, no one actually is. It's all hard work, and luck, ofcourse. Which is why I've decided to step forward into making something useful.\n\nI currently work as a contractor at one of my country's largest Telecom buisiness, [Airtel](https://airtelblack.com/) (Satire site but it's accurate lmao). Which sucks because it is just another megacorporation that doesn't give a damn about its users. But a person must earn anyhow, sigh.\n\n## Ownership: Don't we have the right to own our data?\n\nI know people are gonna say that most people are not going to care about privacy, and that is true. But that does not mean we don't implement something that gives the user the ownership of their own data.\n\nProtocols like [Atproto](https://atproto.com/) are proofs that there is indeed a way for ownership of data to be in the hands of the user. There is this amazing article that explains the concept: [Open Social](https://overreacted.io/open-social/).\n\nI want to live in the [Atmosphere](https://atproto.com/) instead, where all my thoughts could be collectively shared to sites which support Atproto. I am the owner of my own content, I can choose to host my things wherever I want, and not some paywalled site like Medium (eugh). And I believe in the goal of one identity to rule them all. Unfortunately, I still have to use LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc due to, advertising myself (Ironic). \n\nWe're going to a place where every megacorporation like Google, Nvidia, Anthropic, etc are going to be running the internet and the AI space, and protocols like these are a good way to not be dependent on them.\n\nI will be publishing my experiments and findings in this website.\n\nI've been also contributing to the [Tiles](https://www.tiles.run/) project. It runs AI models locally on Mac devices with features like encrypted P2P sync, and keeps your identity and chat truly yours by using `Atproto`. \n\nI believe in its vision, though still in early stages, hence I have decided to expand it's functionality to Linux by using [llama.cpp](https://github.com/ggml-org/llama.cpp). I will be posting more about this soon as well. I've had enough of laying low anyway. \n\nMy blogs shouldn't necessary follow a standard format or something. It's my site so I can write however, as long as you can understand it, right? `¯\\_(ツ)_/¯`",
