  "textContent": "MegaHouse has revealed a couple of _Tetris_ -themed physical games that will be available in Japan. It will release the _Tetris_ Board Game and Rubik's Cube in late April 2026.\n\nThe _Tetris_ Board Game will be available with a tax-inclusive price tag of ¥4,620 (~$29). The package will contain sets that support up to four players. All players will have to pick and drop the same Tetrimino shown on the Play box each turn. They will be able to score a point by completing a line, with multipliers applying to consecutive completed lines.\n\nThe board game will also support a couple of additional rules. A player can place a Tetrimino they want to place later on the Hold card. When they manage to drop a Tetrimino on a dotted grid, they can also opt to drop an obstructive Tetrimino on another player.\n\nImage via MegaHouse\n\nMeanwhile, the _Tetris_ Rubik's Cube will be available at ¥4,950 (~$31.15).
