"textContent": "Blaze Entertainment announced another Evercade gaming handheld called the Evercade Nexus. It will be available in standard and 64 Edition variants. The base model, which comes with the _Banjo-Kazooie_ Double Pack, costs $199.99/£169.99/ €199.99. Only 2,000 of the special edition bundle inspired by the N64 will be made and sold at Funstock for $229.99/£189.99/€229.99. Both versions will release in October 2026, with the Funstock listing showing an October 30, 2026 date. This is only a new variant to follow the EXP and EXP-R that is compatible with all past Evercade cartridges, and does not mark a new generation with exclusive carts.\n\nThe Evercade Nexus seems like it will be about the size of, say, a Switch Lite, as it has ultra bright 5.89 inch IPS screen. (Nintendo’s system has a 5.5 inch IPS screen.) It is compatible with local multiplayer via EverSync. Like the Switch 2 GameShare, this means two people who each own this type of Evercade gaming handheld can play the same game with only one cartridge. No internet connection is required. Like devices such as the Switch and Vita, there are two joysticks on the front. It also offers TATE mode support, charges via USB-C, and supports wireless headphones.\n\nDepending on which bundle you get, different items are packed in the box. The less expensive version of the system includes the Evergade gaming handheld, the _Banjo-Kazooie_ Double Pack cartridge with both _Banjo-Kazooie_ and _Banjo-Tooie_ , and a USB-C to USB-A cable to charge it. The 64 edition includes the different variant of the system, a glass creen protector, a hard shell carrying case, an A3 double-sided Evercade poster that shows past systems and hhandhelds, and a certificate of authenticity.\n\nHere’s the official reveal trailer. At the 1:12 mark, the 64 Edition bundle appears.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1Bc_l0qCr8\n\nThis will be the second Evercade variant that includes _Banjo-Kazooie_. The Rare Super Pocket launches in June 2026 and features it too. However, instead of coming with the cartridge, the handheld has it and 11 other Rare games built into it. However, that device does have a cartridge slot that supports other Evercade releases.\n\nThe Evercade Nexus will launch in October 2026 worldwide and include the _Banjo-Kazooie_ Double Pack cartridge.\n\nWe may earn a commission if you purchase from certain links.
