  "textContent": "The continuation of Sam Porter Bridges’ story will show up on another platform, as Kojima Productions confirmed during the February 2026 State of Play presentation that _Death Stranding 2_ will get a PC port just like the first game did. It is at the end of its development, and we’ll see it on March 19, 2026.\n\nAs a reminder, _Death Stranding 2_ takes place not too long after the events of the original game. Sam is living peacefully with his daughter Lou, the BB he traveled alongside in the first game. However, Fragile and Deadman approach him about helping get Mexico connected to the Chiral Network. Taking on this new task and bringing another country online leads to a whole new adventure and additional revelations.
