"textContent": "_TIME_ will once again feature _Pokemon_ on the cover of the magazine for the series’ 30th anniversary, and this time we can choose which cover we get. The three cover variants feature Mega Charizard, Rayquaza, and the Legendary birds Ho-Oh and Lugia. All three are shipping now from Amazon and will appear in other stores, and they cost $14.99 each. Since online storefronts are selling them as their own separate listings, it is easier to guarantee you get the cover you prefer.\n\nThe covers are the only difference between the three issues of _TIME_ magazine covering the 30th anniversary of _Pokemon_. The interior stories are all the same. Some of the stories teased on the cover are “30 Years of Pikachu,” “How to Master _Pokemon GO_ ,” and “The World’s Most Valuable Media Franchise.” The description also noted that the issue will discuss the trading card game.\n\nHere’s how all three of the covers look this time:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImages via Time USA, LLC\n\n_TIME_ Magazine also featured multiple _Pokemon_ covers for the issue 25th anniversary. Some of the options back then included Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu.\n\n_TIME_ isn’t the only magazine celebrating the series. _LIFE_ also announced a _Pokemon_ issue with four cover variants. Those include ones with Blastoise with water types, Charizard with fire types, and Pikachu and electric types.\n\nThe 30th anniversary of _Pokemon_ takes place on February 27, 2026.\n\nThe post You Can Choose Your TIME Magazine Pokemon Cover appeared first on Siliconera.",
