  "textContent": "Capcom announced two types of updates for _Monster Hunter Wilds_ , with one being a confirmation that there will be a major DLC expansion and the other a 1st Anniversary Message about more immediate updates. The expansion, which will be as large as Iceborne and Sunbreak, is in development. We’ll learn more about it in Summer 2026. As for the updates, it involved new trailers and a roadmap of what to expect between February and March 2026.\n\nWith the roadmap, it starts with the 1.041 update on February 18, 2026. That’s when the Blossomdance Festival of Accord appears, Arch-tempered Arkveld will appear, 10-star Arch-tempered Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad will show up as event quests, and there will be an event quest to earn the Design Contest Great Sword and Pendant. The _Monster Hunter Stories 3_ crossover side mission will debut then too. The Special Supplies: Hunter Appreciation Pack will start to be doled out for the anniversary too.\n\nA number of other “always available” event quests are coming.
