"textContent": "Macworld\n\nApple has released iOS 26.5.2, iPadOS 26.5.2, and macOS 26.5.2, a relatively small series of updates with no new features or bug fixes. The simple release notes for all three versions:\n\n> This update provides security fixes for your iPhone.\n\nThose security updates are worth paying attention to, though. According to Apple’s security page, there are 29 vulnerabilities addressed in this release. Many of them are related to WebKit, which is Apple’s browser engine for Safari and is used by third-party web browsers in most of the world, too.\n\nWebKit vulnerabilities are especially important to pay attention to because they impact almost everyone, all the time—everyone browses the web, and it’s easy to be tricked into visiting a malicious website. So we recommend anyone running iOS 26 update their iPhone or iPad as soon as they can.\n\nApple is also working on OS 26.6, which should release sometime in July. A third beta was released to developers today.\n\n## To update your iPhone to iOS 26.5.2\n\n * Open Settings\n * Tap _General_\n * Tap _Software Update_ and follow the on-screen instructions.\n\n",
