One killed, two critically hurt after driver attempts to exit last minute on LBJ in Dallas

On May 30, 2026, at approximately 6:28 p.m., Dallas Police and Dallas Fire Rescue responded to a major accident on the in the 11100 block of westbound LBJ Freeway near Plano Road. The preliminary investigation determined that a three-vehicle collision occurred when a sedan traveling westbound on LBJ Freeway attempted to exit the freeway from the second from left lane.
