Burglar shot trying to get into Dallas home, police say

On Sunday, April 5, at approximately 5:55 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a burglary of a residence in progress in the 5200 block of Mystic Trail. The preliminary investigation determined that a suspect attempting to enter a home was shot by a person inside.
