Internet services fully restored nationwide after SMW-5 submarine cable repaired: PTA

ISLAMABAD: Internet services have been fully restored across Pakistan after faults in the SMW-5 submarine cable were completely resolved, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said on Friday. In a statement, the PTA said the SMW-5 submarine cable had resumed full operations, restoring internet connectivity to normal across the country. The authority said it remained in continuous coordination with Transworld Associates throughout the repair process.
