"textContent": "A Pakistan Air Force trainer aircraft crashed during a routine training sortie near Mardan on Sunday, resulting in the martyrdom of two pilots, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).\n\nThe deceased have been identified as Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah of the Pakistan Air Force and Lieutenant Taha Abbasi of the Pakistan Navy. A board of inquiry has been constituted by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the accident.\n\nField Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, along with the services chiefs and all ranks of the Pakistan Armed Forces, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the bereaved families.\n\nPrime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has also expressed deep sorrow over the crash and conveyed condolences over the martyrdom of Pakistan Air Force Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah and Pakistan Navy Lieutenant Taha Abbasi, terming the incident profoundly tragic. The prime minister prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased personnel and extended heartfelt sympathy to their families, saying the government stands in solidarity with the bereaved. He prayed that Allah grants patience and strength to the families to bear this immense loss. Sharif also praised the professionalism and dedication of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the country, describing their service as unmatched.\n\nFederal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also conveyed deep sorrow and paid tribute to the two pilots, Captain Qasim and Captain Talha. The interior minister said they had attained a “great honour of sacrifice in the line of duty.”\n\nHe extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased pilots, stating that the government stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time. Naqvi also prayed for the swift recovery of three individuals who were injured in the accident.\n\nChief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz also expressed grief over the incident near Mardan, paying tribute to the two pilots and offering condolences to their families.
