"textContent": "WEB DESK: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan and China’s longstanding friendship has consistently “stood the test of every challenge”, as both countries mark 75 years of diplomatic relations and cooperation.\n\n#### 75 years of enduring Pakistan-China friendship\n\nAddressing a ceremony on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the 75-year friendship between Pakistan and China, and global governance initiatives, the minister said the entire Pakistani nation was celebrating the milestone with “great pride and joy”.\n\nHe said the relationship between the two countries was rooted in deep trust, shared interests, and strong people-to-people linkages.\n\nHe noted that Pakistan and China not only share geographical proximity but also enjoy close social, cultural, and diplomatic connections. Referring to high-level exchanges, he said recent visits by the Pakistani prime minister to China had further elevated bilateral cooperation, while President Xi Jinping’s visit to Pakistan had set a new direction for future engagement.\n\n#### CPEC, Belt and Road Initiative and future cooperation\n\nDescribing CPEC as a key component of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, Tarar said the project represents development, connectivity, and shared prosperity for both countries. He added that cooperation between Pakistan and China continues to expand in the fields of media, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.\n\nThe minister said the friendship between the two countries was becoming “stronger with time” and highlighted that exchange of delegations played a vital role in deepening ties.
