Weather alert issued for the next 12 to 24 hours: Rain, thunder in Islamabad expected

ISLAMABAD: Yet another weather alert was issued, after Thursday experienced rainfall throughout the day, forecasting rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in the next 12 to 24 hours. Islamabad and several districts across Punjab are expected to receive rainfall., the Met department said. In Punjab, rainfall is expected in Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, and Mandi Bahauddin. Scattered showers are also likely in Dera Ghazi Khan, Kasur, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
