  "textContent": "The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast widespread rain, thunderstorms and strong winds across the country's upper regions from June 2 to June 5, with the possibility of hailstorms in several areas.\n\nAccording to the weather department, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and a number of districts in Punjab are expected to receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms and, in some places, hail.\n\nIn Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, rain and thunderstorms are forecast from June 2 to June 6. The PMD warned that some areas could experience heavy rainfall and hailstorms during the period.\n\nMost districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also likely to be affected by strong winds, dust storms and rain between June 2 and June 5, while northeastern districts of Balochistan are expected to receive rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds from June 2 to June 4.\n\nThe weather department further predicted thunderstorms and rain in several districts of upper Sindh between June 2 and June 4.\n\nAuthorities have also warned of a risk of landslides in mountainous areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from June 3 to June 6 due to the expected rainfall.\n\nThe PMD has advised residents, travellers and local administrations in vulnerable areas to remain cautious and take necessary precautions in view of the changing weather conditions.\n\nThe post PMD forecasts rain, thunderstorms and hailstorms across northern Pakistan from June 2 appeared first on HUM News English.",
