PMDC announces MDCAT schedule

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) on Tuesday announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) will be held nationwide on August 16. Pakistan’s medical regulatory authority said that the entrance test for 2026 admissions will be conducted across the country on the same date. In its notification, the PMDC said that the syllabus for MDCAT 2026 will be based on the 2025 curriculum. The announcement comes as thousands of students prepare for entry into medical and dental colleges across Pakistan, where MDCAT is a mandatory requirement for admission.
