"textContent": "VIRGINIA: Phil Mickelson will miss this week’s LIV Golf Virginia event but is included in the field for next week’s PGA Championship.\n\nThe PGA of America announced its 154-player field for the May 14–17 tournament on Tuesday, confirming that Mickelson is set to compete at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. As a two-time PGA Championship winner, he holds a lifetime exemption into the event.\n\nThe 55-year-old has taken part in only one LIV Golf event this season due to a family health issue. He finished tied for 48th at LIV Golf South Africa in March and later skipped the Masters, where he is a three-time champion.\n\nScott Vincent will step in to replace Mickelson, captain of HyFlyers GC, for this week’s LIV Golf event at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C.\n\nThe post Phil Mickelson misses LIV Virginia but set to play PGA Championship appeared first on HUM News English.",
