"textContent": "The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has announced a nationwide protest tomorrow following the killing of its provincial leader Maulana Muhammad Idrees.\n\nParty leaders expressed deep grief over the incident, calling it a serious failure of law and order. Senator Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman strongly criticized the security situation, questioning how long the state will continue to preside over repeated tragedies without ensuring citizen safety.\n\nHe said that if the government is unable to provide security, its legitimacy is being called into question. He further announced that protests will be held across all districts, demanding immediate and effective action to restore peace.\n\nSpeaking in Peshawar, he alleged that clerics are being repeatedly targeted and accused the provincial leadership of failing to maintain law and order over the past years. He claimed the situation in the province reflects worsening security conditions and announced that the protest would also be directed against both provincial and federal authorities.\n\n## JI ANNOUNCES POST-EID MOVEMENT\n\nSeparately, Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a nationwide political movement against the government following Eid-ul-Adha.\n\nParty chief Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman criticised what he called an unequal economic system, saying it is being sustained through the burden placed on ordinary citizens. He urged lawyers and civil society to support the movement.\n\nHe alleged that public funds collected through levies are being diverted to independent power producers, and said Pakistan’s political system has been dominated by hereditary leadership for decades without meaningful reform.\n\nHafiz Naeem added that despite sacrifices by the people, state institutions have failed to deliver justice or accountability. He said the country needs a new political direction and leadership, and confirmed that his party will not join any alliances driven by personal or political interests.\n\nThe post JUI-F announces nationwide protest tomorrow; JI to protest after Eid appeared first on HUM News English.",
