"textContent": "ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) from Adiala Jail on Monday for a follow-up eye procedure, hospital authorities said.\n\nAccording to a statement issued by the PIMS administration, the 74-year-old underwent his fourth intravitreal injection as part of ongoing treatment.\n\nPrior to the procedure, he was examined by ophthalmologists and was found to be clinically stable.\n\nDoctors also conducted an optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan, which indicated clinical improvement in his condition, the statement said.\n\nThe injection was administered in an operation theatre under standard protocols and monitoring, after obtaining informed consent. Surgeons performed the procedure under microscopic guidance.\n\nHospital officials said it was conducted as a day-care surgery, and Khan remained vitally stable before, during and after the procedure. He was later discharged with instructions for further care and follow-up.\n\nKhan is currently incarcerated at Adiala jail and has been undergoing periodic medical evaluations and treatment.\n\nThe post Imran Khan given fourth eye injection at PIMS, condition stable appeared first on HUM News English.",
