"textContent": "ISLAMABAD: Islamabad has issued revised operating timings for various businesses across the city amid ongoing austerity measures, the administration said.\n\nAccording to the notification, shops, markets, and shopping malls will close at 8:00 PM throughout the week.\n\nRestaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and food outlets will be allowed to remain open until 10:00 PM, with takeaway and delivery services permitted.\n\nMarriage halls and commercial event venues have also been directed to close by 10:00 PM.\n\nSports facilities and gyms will follow an 8:00 PM closing time.\n\nHowever, pharmacies, hospitals, petrol pumps, CNG stations, and dairy shops have been exempted from the revised timings and will continue to operate as usual.\n\nThe new schedule will come into effect from April 16, 2026, and will remain in place until further orders.\n\nThe administration has urged citizens and the business community to cooperate for smooth implementation of the revised timings.\n\nThe post Islamabad issues revised business timings amid austerity measures appeared first on HUM News English.",
