  "textContent": "ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Monday announced traffic restrictions in the capital, confirming that the Red Zone will remain closed to all vehicles except official government transport.\n\nThe movement from Kashmir Chowk toward Serena Chowk and Srinagar Highway has been suspended until further notice, according to the police spokesperson.\n\nHowever, alternative routes have been provided for the convenience of citizens.\n\nCommuters coming from Bahria Kahu can travel toward Islamabad via Kashmir Chowk using Club Road.\n\nSimilarly, residents can use Murree Road and Club Road through Kashmir Chowk to reach Bahria Kahu.\n\nThe Srinagar Highway will remain closed from the Seventh Avenue Bridge to Serena Chowk. However, traffic between Zero Point and Seventh Avenue Flyover is open on both sides.\n\nCitizens are advised that they can travel from the Seventh Avenue intersection toward G-7, G-6, and Chand Tara Chowk without restriction.\n\nAuthorities further confirmed that Faisal Avenue and Margalla Road are open for traffic, ensuring smooth movement in those areas.
