Punjab records highest-ever Grade 8 results in first AI-marked exams

The government of Punjab has announced record-breaking results for the 2026 Grade 8 assessments, marking the province’s first-ever fully AI-enabled, 100 per cent machine-marked examination. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz welcomed the outcome, highlighting it as a major milestone in modernising the education system. She reiterated her government’s commitment to improving learning outcomes, ensuring transparency through technology, and expanding equal educational opportunities across the province.
