"textContent": "The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Sunday evening announced that all markets in divisional headquarters, including Peshawar, will close at 9 PM starting tomorrow.\n\nAccording to an official notification, markets in other districts outside the divisional headquarters will close at 8 PM.\n\nThe notification issues a comprehensive timeline for all of the areas where the public flow is exceptionally high.\n\nRestaurants and food outlets where the public rush is often at its peak will close by 10 PM. The notification, however, exempts home delivery and takeaway services from this instruction.\n\nThe notification also targets the wedding halls and marquees, allowing the managements to operate the events only until 10 PM.\n\nMedical stores, hospitals, and emergency services are also exempt from the restrictions, while agricultural, construction, industrial units, and factories can continue operations.\n\nBakeries (tandoors) will remain open only for bread and naan production, and petrol pumps will operate strictly for fuel supply.\n\nThe government emphasises that these measures are aimed at regulating business hours while ensuring essential services remain uninterrupted.\n\nThe post KP govt orders all markets to close by 9PM appeared first on HUM News English.",
