"textContent": "ZURICH: Around 12 tons of KitKat chocolate bars have been stolen in Europe after thieves made off with a truck carrying the consignment, Swiss food giant Nestlé said on Saturday.\n\nThe company said the truck, transporting about 413,793 bars of a new KitKat range, had departed from central Italy en route to Poland but never reached its destination.\n\nBoth the vehicle and the cargo remain missing, while Nestlé did not disclose where the truck was lost.\n\nIn a statement, the company said the stolen chocolate bars can be traced using a unique batch code. Anyone scanning the code would be provided instructions on how to contact KitKat.\n\n“While we appreciate the criminals’ exceptional taste, the fact remains that cargo theft is an escalating issue for businesses of all sizes,” KitKat said.\n\nThe incident highlights growing concerns over organised cargo theft across Europe, where high-value shipments are increasingly being targeted by criminals.\n\nThe post 12 tons of KitKat chocolate stolen in Europe after truck goes missing appeared first on HUM News.",
