  "textContent": "Donald Glover has joined the voice cast of _Super Mario Galaxy Movie_ , taking on the role of the beloved dinosaur Yoshi as Nintendo unveiled a new trailer for the animated sequel.\n\nThe casting announcement was made during a Nintendo Direct livestream on Monday, where Illumination CEO and producer Chris Meledandri confirmed several new additions to the film’s expanding ensemble.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe upcoming film follows 2023’s global hit _The Super Mario Bros. Movie_ , with Chris Pratt returning as Mario as the character embarks on a new adventure that takes the Mushroom Kingdom heroes beyond their familiar world and into space.\n\nSeveral returning stars are set to reprise their roles, including Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad and Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek.\n\nThe sequel also introduces several new characters. Issa Rae will voice Honey Queen, while Luis Guzmán joins the cast as Wart.
