  "textContent": "DUBAI /TEHRAN /DOHA: Iranian on Tuesday dismissed claims by the United States about negotiations as tensions in the region remained high following a series of attacks and countermeasures.\n\nIran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson called reports about talks “completely false,” saying that a supposed US offer in the final stage was rejected by Tehran.\n\n“Everything being said about negotiations is lies,” the spokesperson said. He also questioned claims by US officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, that Israel had intervened or that Iran posed an immediate threat.\n\nPresident Donald Trump had described Iran as an “immediate danger” before the weekend’s attacks, but the Iranian Foreign Ministry pointed to Pentagon reports stating that Iran posed no direct threat to the United States.\n\n“Did Iran send forces to US shores? Did we fire missiles at the White House? No,” the spokesperson said, highlighting that Tehran is surrounded by hundreds of American bases across the region.\n\nIranian officials emphasized that while the situation is “unusual,” the country is not paralysed.\n\nPresident Masoud Pezeshkian said that normal activities continue nationwide, and all governors remain in contact with central leadership. Pezeshkian described national unity as the country’s “greatest asset.”\n\nMeanwhile, US President Trump claimed that Iran’s air force, navy, and leadership had been neutralized. “They want to talk; I said it’s too late,” Trump was quoted saying.\n\nMeanwhile, A UAE Ministry of Defence spokesperson said the country’s sovereignty and security had not been violated.\n\nStrategic weapons stocks remain capable of responding to threats for an extended period, the spokesperson said.\n\nThe UAE confirmed that Iranian missiles had targeted civilian areas but caused no direct hits on its territory, with only debris falling on UAE soil.\n\n“Dealing with missiles and drones is difficult, but we have succeeded,” the spokesperson said.\n\nAbu Dhabi authorities said that they are fully prepared to counter any aggression and that the conflict’s escalation is not desired.\n\nThe UAE Ministry of Economy said that domestic supplies of essentials could last four to six months, and the country is capable of rapidly securing alternative markets and coping with crises.\n\nQatar’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that no dialogue is ongoing with Iran and said Iranian attacks in Qatar were not limited to US bases but affected the country more broadly.\n\nThe ministry also denied claims by US journalist Tucker Carlson that Mossad operatives had been arrested in Qatar or Saudi Arabia, saying there is currently no evidence of any such network or operations in the country.\n\nOfficials across the region reiterated that while they are seeking to reduce tensions, they reserve the right to defend themselves.\n\nThe post Iran denies US negotiation offers; Trump says Iran’s capabilities neutralized appeared first on HUM News.",
