"textContent": "KARACHI: Chairman of the Board of Directors of HUM Network Mazharul Haq Siddiqui and one of Pakistan’s senior-most civil servants passed away in Karachi.\n\nHis funeral prayers will be offered in Karachi on Thursday, family sources said.\n\nSiddiqui was regarded as a distinguished educationist and an accomplished bureaucrat who held several senior positions in the government of Pakistan.\n\nDuring his career, he served as secretary of education and secretary of finance, and also worked in the services and general administration department.\n\nHe also served as vice-chancellor of the University of Sindh and was chairman of the Sindh Madressatul Islam Board and Quaid-e-Azam Public School.\n\nMazharul Haq Siddiqui was the elder brother of HUM Network President Sultana Siddiqui.\n\nHe is remembered for his contributions to public service and the education sector in Pakistan.\n\nThe post HUM Network BoD Chairman Mazharul Haq Siddiqui passes away in Karachi appeared first on HUM News.",
