  "textContent": "LAHORE: A woman was allegedly gang-raped after being lured with a promise of a job and later found to have had a kidney removed, police and provincial officials said on Saturday.\n\nThe victim, a resident of Lahore’s Chuhng area, was allegedly abducted after being offered a job and later taken to Rawalpindi, where she was confined in a house and subjected to gang rape, the reports said.\n\nDuring a subsequent medical examination, doctors discovered that her left kidney was missing. It was not immediately clear under what circumstances the organ had been removed.\n\nPunjab Women Protection Authority Chairperson Hina Parvez Butt has taken notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Lahore.\n\nShe directed the police to immediately arrest all those involved.\n\nButt said that those responsible would be brought to justice and that crimes against women would not be tolerated.\n\nShe said that the victim would be provided full legal, medical and psychological assistance.\n\nPolice did not immediately respond to a request for sharing further details.\n\nThe post Woman allegedly held captive, raped and had kidney removed appeared first on HUM News.",
