Changan extends price cuts: Oshan X7, Alsvin Sedan take center stage

Changan Pakistan has expanded its promotional offer to include the Alsvin sedan lineup, following the recent price reduction on the Oshan X7 SUV. The move introduces revised ex-factory prices and a bundled service package across Alsvin variants, providing buyers with both cost savings and added convenience.

REVISED PRICING FOR ALSVIN

The updated price structure reflects a flat reduction across all Alsvin trims:

• Alsvin MT Comfort: Now PKR 3,789,000, down from PKR 4,189,000

• Alsvin DCT Lumiere: Now PKR 4,499,000, down from PKR 4,899,000

• Alsvin Lumiere Black Edition: Now PKR 4,599,000, down from PKR 4,999,000

Changan has not confirmed whether these reductions are permanent or part of a limited-time promotion, though the “Celebration Offer” branding suggests a promotional window.

For the Oshan X7, the benefits remain substantial, with total savings of up to Rs 700,000, bringing the starting price to Rs 7,949,000. The offer includes FutureSense variants (both five- and seven-seater) as well as the seven-seat Comfort variant, and selected models include two years of prepaid periodic maintenance.

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE PACKAGE

A highlight of the promotion is Changan’s Periodic Maintenance (PPM) package, valued at Rs 250,000 for the FutureSense variants. The package is valid for two years or 35,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, and covers:

• Engine oil and oil filter replacement

• Air, fuel, and AC (cabin) filter changes

• Spark plugs, coolant, and brake/clutch fluid

• Front brake pads and rear brake shoes

• All labor charges for the above

This package enhances the overall value proposition for buyers seeking long-term convenience and reduced maintenance costs.

ALSVIN FEATURES RECAP

The Alsvin lineup continues to offer competitive specifications:

• Engine Options: 1.3L and 1.5L petrol

• Transmission: 5-speed manual or 5-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT)

• Fuel Efficiency: 13–15 km/l depending on variant

• Interior: Fabric seats, 7-inch touchscreen, rear camera, power windows, and steering-mounted controls

• Safety: Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors

Previously, Changan had also launched special discounts on Alsvin during Independence Day 2025, with savings of up to Rs 275,000, demonstrating the brand’s ongoing focus on maintaining demand amid rising inflation and financing costs.
