Leknessund extends with Uno-X

Andreas Leknessund came up short in his dogged pursuit of a Giro d'Italia stage win this past month in Italy, finishing second on three separate occasions, but he at least managed to impress his team enough to earn himself a contract extension. Uno-X Mobility announced on Monday that the 27-year-old Norwegian, whose career palmares include an overall win at the Arctic Race of Norway and a stage win at the Tour de Suisse, will ride on with the team through the 2029 season.
