Canyon-SRAM (finally) drops Zondacrypto

The organization that started Friday as Canyon-SRAM-Zondacrypto (officially stylized as CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto) has severed ties with sponsor Zondacrypto "following breaches of contract," reverting to its pre-2025 name as simply Canyon-SRAM.

Zondacrypto, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Poland, came aboard as a co-title sponsor of the Women's WorldTour outfit at the start of the 2025 season as part of a broader push to sponsor a wide variety of sporting endeavors. In cycling alone, the company also made partnership deals with the women's Giro d'Italia, the Tour de Suisse, and the Tour of Poland, and it has also sponsored football teams and the Polish Olympic team.

Zondacrypto has come under increasing scrutiny in recent months, however, amid investigations into potential fraud and money-laundering and reports of potential ties to Russian organized crime. The company's solvency has come into question after its cash reserves plummeted in late 2025, which saw a 99.7% drop in value for Zondacrypto's bitcoin wallet.
