Ineos Grenadiers is rebranding as ‘Netcompany Ineos Cycling Team’ sooner than expected. After news broke in mid-March that a new title sponsor would be coming on prior to the Tour de France, the team held a press event on Tuesday 28 April, where both the new name and kit were launched, along with details of the new five-year partnership between Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos and the Danish tech firm Netcompany.

Netcompany Ineos will officially make the switch in time for the Giro d’Italia, which starts in Bulgaria on Friday 8 May.

The new kit sees a complete refresh of the existing 2026 livery, swapping the orange and white for a blue-grey jersey – or greenish grey, depending on your eyeballs – that is appropriately reminiscent of computer software branding, incorporating the TotalEnergies logo in its familiar white box. A notable detail on the back of the jersey is the return of the vertical stripe motif long-associated with Team Sky and the Grenadiers, and one of the only flashes of colour on an otherwise largely monochrome jersey. Finally, it’s goodbye to the black-vs-white/grey-shorts debate as the team reverts back to no-nonsense black.
