"textContent": "Charlie Forgham-Bailey/SWpix.com\n\nThe ASO has revealed that the first two days of the 2027 Tour de France Femmes will have sprinters and puncheurs hopeful for a shot at yellow in the north of England before the race heads to London for a team time trial. Race director Marion Rousse and British pros Cat Ferguson and Flora Perkins were on hand in front of Canada Gate across from Buckingham Palace on Monday to unveil details of the three stages that will comprise the British Grand Départ.\n\nStart and finish locations for the three stages were already known, but we now have a clearer picture of what to expect when the women's peloton rolls out from Leeds on July 30 of next year. That first stage will be a short one at 85.7 km, and it will take riders through the Pennines and over three official climbs.\n\nIn keeping with tradition for top-level races in Britain, the climbs have been given sufficiently French names: the Côte de Kirkheaton, Côte de Meltham, and Côte de Delph. With a little over 20 km on mostly flat roads from the final climb to the Manchester finish, however, the first stage could come down to a sprint with the race leader's yellow jersey on the line.\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
