Podcaster Benji Naesen files ethics complaint against UCI over cautionary letter

Cycling podcaster and commentator Benji Naesen has filed a formal complaint with the UCI Ethics Commission after he received an official letter from a member of the UCI's senior management, on UCI letterhead, over unspecified comments Naesen made on social media.

The letter from the UCI, which is dated April 2, 2026, came from a member of the organization's leadership team, who is bound by the UCI's code of ethics. Naesen's complaint is centered on Articles 5 and 6.4, which bar any individual bound by the UCI's Code of Ethics from engaging in conduct that is unethical or intimidating.
