Nobl’s Ethos mountain bike wheel range starts at 993 grams

Based in North America, Nobl’s new Ethos series consists of five new wheelsets built around Berd’s polymer spokes. According to Nobl, the key design goal was to create wheels with optimal torsional flex. Headlining the range is the Ethos SL180, a 29er cross-country race wheelset that features DT Swiss’ 180 hubs, 28 Berd spokes per wheel, 30 mm internal-width rims, and a claimed weight of just 993 grams. These are priced at US$2,500 a pair. Other wheels in the range span from cross-country through to all-mountain, each featuring Nobl’s new Ethos Ti70 with Hook flange (developed in collaboration with Berd and Erase Components).
