You can read it on_ _the website_ _(obviously) or_ _click here_ _to have it delivered straight to your inbox._\n\nHello!\n\nWelcome back to **Spin Cycle**.\n\nThree stage races are running simultaneously this week, which is frankly excellent news. After a lean few months for road racing action, we were more than ready to gorge on the sight of a live peloton on our TV screens once again. The biggest surprise is that the UAE Tour has managed to capture more than a smidge of intrigue, which we wouldn't have imagined a few months ago. I guess for this week, we are this guy.\n\n## UAE but the E stands for Ey up! This is actually an Exciting race? 🫨\n\nUsually, we're all 'wake me up, when the UAE Tour ends', ready to properly re-engage with seriously watching bike racing from the flag drop at Omloop Nieuwsblad, but we have taken a surprising amount of joy out of the WorldTour's Middle Eastern stage race.\n\nNot that Silvan Dillier has. Here he is pictured on a 168 km-long breakaway on the UAE Tour's stage three alongside teammate Jonas Rickaert. After all, those Premier Techs aren't going to sell themselves!\n\nThe pair were out there to effectively give the TV cameras another shot to use for the entire build-up to the new, tough Jebel Mobrah climb. Thank you for your service, fellas.\n\nBut yes, the stage race gave us a streets won't forget top 10 on stage 1, and then stage 3 to Jebel Mobrah gave us a summit finish that saw Antonio Tiberi take aim at the other GC contenders, shoot off the front of the group, and hold off Isaac Del Toro to take the win and overall lead.\n\nMeanwhile, Remco Evenepoel had a _jour sans_ , saying that cramps and poor recovery (specifically that the aircon in his hotel room hadn't been working overnight – sabotage, perhaps?) may have thwarted his performance, but that ultimately he wasn't making excuses. Of course, those are all excuses, but we'll continue to cut Evenepoel some slack as he has to explain every pedal stroke to a Belgian media singularly tasked with covering each intake of breath from their champion.\n\nBut whether you're Silvan Dillier or Remco Evenepoel, maybe just consider yourself grateful that you're in the UAE (yes, stay with us) and not Movistar's Jefferson Cepeda at the Ruta del Sol, where a bidon bouncing back off a soigneur took him down in the feed zone. Real rotten luck.\n\n## This is now the second best jump of your life 🥉\n\nRemember the people who ski-jumped over Tadej Pogačar during his vic-snore-ious Giro d'Italia a couple of years ago?\n\n### This post is for subscribers only\n\nBecome a member to get access to all content\n\nSubscribe now",
