  "textContent": "For those who have been reading for some time, know that I convene a community and ecosystem building event series in Southampton.\n\nMore info on the website here:\n\nClimate Tech Impact_SouthEventsClimate Tech Impact_South\n\n* * *\n\nSo what I hear you say - I live in a country far and away!\n\nMy quick note today is to share with you, the audience insights we capture from these events, with support from our partners Lorefully.\n\n**What that output looks like, and why it makes in-person events more valuable as engines to grow your ecosystem / tribe / business.**\n\n* * *\n\n### The in-person event challenge\n\nEver felt like you could have contributed more but didn't?\n\nSomeone dominates the discussion, you can't get a word in, or you feel muted?\n​\nMost events end the same way...\n​\nSome brilliant speakers, a buzz in the room, business card swaps [old skool, yes!], and then... it fades.\n​\nThe conversations from the breakout group - gone\nThe insight from the clever person next to you - lost\nThe perspective you never voiced - ebbed away\n​\nAt Climate Tech Impact_South, we do it differently:\n​\n🎙️ Every speaker recorded\n💬 Breakout groups tackle real, structured questions\n🎙️ Every group discussion recorded\n\n> That means everyone has a voice, and all your comments and inputs, however big or small, are captured to build our event intelligence output.\n\n* * *\n\n### Data crunching\n\nThis is where the clever people at Lorefully come in: anonymised transcript crunching, some big data analysis, guidance on key topic threads, all outputting into a useable data stream for reporting.\n\nAnd there is quite a lot of data!\n\nAs an example, we had the entire spoken-word output of:\n\n  * 4 different speaker presentations at 15-20 minutes\n  * 25 people split into 4 groups for 15 minute breakouts x 3 sessions\n  * Individual inputs on a direct topic recording\n\n\n\nI don't know how bit the audio files were and the word count, but it was hefty!\n\n* * *\n\n### What's the output?\n\nHere is the report we prepared from **Event 04** - with speakers from:\n\n🎤 **National Oceanography Centre** - commercialisation challenges\n\n🎤 **NOC Innovations** - start-up and scale-up access and pathways\n\n🎤 **D Young & Co** - new innovation IP and protections\n\n🎤 **Yours truly** 😀\n\nDive on in - would love to hear what you think?\n\n* * *\n\n### Ecosystem Building\n\nThinking about how to build an interesting event for your business?\n\nWant to build your ecosystem and advocates, further your reach and develop opportunities for growth?\n\nYour audience wants more, not less, human interaction and brand engagement.
