Unsubscribe anytime.\n\n### Let's talk about Costner\n\nWhat's Kevin and his **Field of Dreams** got to do with climate tech, the energy transition, and life anyway!?\n\nOK, yes I know the quote isn't exactly correct, its 'he will come' but in reality, 'they' is much better, and useful for building the future:\n\nOK, now thats cleared up, what are we talking about again?\n\n> referring to the idea that if you put in the work and do something you're passionate about, it will find an audience\n\nI often roll out Costner as a hero of the transition and the meme at the top of this post at my events and talks.\n\nApply it to whatever you like - renewables, innovation, launching a newsletter, hosting an event....well ok, you still need product-market fit and all that good stuff, but you get the idea!\n\n* * *\n\n### What did I build then?\n\nSometimes you just need to build it...\n\nWe held **Climate Tech Impact_South Event 04** a couple of weeks back. People came, including our usual Southampton City Cabinet members.\n\nAlong with the growing ecosystem, new a existing audience members, the National Oceanography Centre sent 3 speakers! 👏\n\nSome cool innovation & IP lawyers, D Young & Co LLP sponsored us. ✅\n\nOur AI event intelligence partners, Lorefully, captured all that good dialogue in the talks and breakouts.
