Idea / Pre-RFC: Null-free pointer and Zeroable reference

Which pretty much matches what I would expect from any sane standard. I don't believe anyone is advocating for assembly everywhere. I'm suggesting a couple functions in their own module or crate, which is precisely what that standard requires (apparently).
