Mazzy Star - Fade Into You

Mazzy Star is a band that was active from 1988 to 1997 — apparently, they reformed in 2012 — but I only discovered them in the early 2000s, during what I refer to as my "second formative years" in terms of music. This was when I was living in Florida, where my students and friends introduced me to music that I had missed out on in the previous decade — mostly because it never really crossed the ocean to France.

Mazzy Star was among them, and I don't really have much to tell you about them except to listen to Fade Into You , probably their most famous song, released in 1993. If you like it — and how could you not? — listen to their other songs; this band is just magical.
