Los Angeles has nearly 4 million people in it. You’d think that would make it hard to find somewhere quiet. And maybe this loop, which is about 40 miles and 6,500 feet of elevation is hard in the physical sense, it’s not hard to get to. I was out for five hours, and aside for the three trail runners I saw first thing in the morning, I saw nobody.
