Almost everyone in history has views or actions that wouldn’t be seen favorably today. New details also tend to emerge over time about nearly anyone. Standards change; what was acceptable in the past may not be acceptable now, and may change again in the future. I propose that we start using the Latin names of plants/insects/animals. NE Haliaeetus Leucocephalus St. See, it even has a ring to it!
