Diving around in Google Analytics for a thing I clicked on the Active users by Country / Town/City  report and hello to all 9,000+ of you from the Chinese city of Lanzhou, it's a pleasure to have you here. Um, why are you here?

It's not just China though, there are visitors from all around the world, check out the top 162 countries ... and yes, I suspect an awful lot of these visits are bots scraping the content for nefarious LLM-type reasons.
