Marco Bezzecchi Suspended For Rest Of Czech GP For Hitting A Marshal
Marco Bezzecchi has been suspended from the Czech GP for an incident in which he pushed and slapped a marshal who was trying to recover his bike after he crashed at Turn 3. As a result, the factory Aprilia rider will take no further part in proceedings at Brno, and stands to lose a lot of his lead in the championship.
Bezzecchi was cruising in fifth when he lost the front at Turn 3 on the penultimate lap. He rushed over to his bike, which a group of marshals were trying to pick up, and one of them grabbed the throttle that made the bike rev up. Bezzecchi pushed and the slapped the marshal, before they took his bike behind the barriers.
